FUJINO WALDORF SCHOOL

About Our School

Our school is the first Waldorf school opened in Asia in 1988.
In 2006, we moved to Fujino, Kanagawa from Mitaka, Tokyo. Fujino is an artistic town where the local communities and the school strive together. We are 90 minutes north-west of Tokyo, surrounded by the beautiful mountains and the lake. Currently, we have schools from nursery school to high school, all of which are accredited by the government.
Every year in mid-May, we have an open day for the new students and their family. We also have information sessions in June, September and January for the parents who are considering to enter or to transfer to our school. Information is available on our website in Japanese. If you need it in English, please consult us by email.
